Experience the delights of Japan in autumn! The golden hues of autumn are just as spectacular as the cherry blossoms in spring. An English speaking guide will accompany you around some of Japan's most renowned historical locations, such as Kyoto, Nara and the UNESCO world heritage site, Shirakawa-go. You will also be given the opportunity to explore the metropoles of Tokyo and Osaka.

Immerse yourself in Japanese culture through several exciting hands-on experiences. Make and eat your own sushi, fashion your own chopsticks using the famous gold leaf of Kanazawa and join in Sutra chanting at a Buddhist temple all while surrounded by the gorgeous autumn colours of Japan.

Leave Tokyo to travel to Hakone by coach with an English speaking guide. You'll go on a lake cruise, followed by making and eating your own Soba noodles. After lunch, the tour continues to Oshino Hakkai, a village close to Mt. Fuji. The coach tour will end in the historic city of Suwa, where your traditional Japanese inn awaits. 
Stay at Kamisuwa Onsen Shinyu in a Japanese room.

Have breakfast at your hotel and check out. Go by coach with an English speaking guide to Takayama old town where you can wander around at your leisure. Have breakfast at your hotel and check out. Visit the Takayama Morning Market, followed by a trip by coach to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Shirakawago with an English speaking guide. Have lunch at a local restaurant and then have a go at making your own chopsticks with gold leaves. Finish off with a gold leaf ice cream before you check in to your hotel.

Have breakfast at your hotel and check out. Go by coach with an English speaking guide to Kenrokuen, one of Japan's most famous and beatiful gardens, and visit Ishikawa Museum of Traditional Art and Craft. After lunch at a local restaurant, you'll make your way to Shirahige Shrine, and then onwards to check in to your accommodation, a Buddhist temple lodging hotel with great views of Lake Biwa, where a vegetarian dinner will be served.

Join the morning sutra chanting, have breakfast and then make your way to Kyoto by coach with an English speaking guide. In Kyoto, you'll visit the Golden Pavilion Kinkakuji, the famous rock garden at Ryoanji and Nijo Castle. After lunch the tour continues to a Kiyomizu temple, famous for it's autumn colours, Nishiki market and the famous Gion corner. Return to the hotel by own yourself.

Have breakfast at your hotel and check out. Travel by coach with an English speaking guide to Fushimi Inari, the shrine famous for it's thousands vermilion torii gates. For lunch, you'll have the chance to learn how to make your own sushi. The tour then continues to Todaiji, Nara and Kuromon Market. For dinner you'll have the experience of making and eating one of Osaka's most famous foods, Takoyaki!
