Sapporo in western Hokkaido is divided up in a grid pattern, and is the largest city in Hokkaido. You may like to visit Odori park where the internationally popular Sappro Snow Festival attracts viewers every February, Hokkaido Shirne which is thought to be flowing with mystical power, has been protecting the people of Hokkaido since the Meiji Era and is visited by many people each year. Central Wholesale Market Sapporo and Clock Tower can't be missed in Sapporo.

Explore Otaru at your own leisure.
Activate your Hokkaido 7 Days Pass at Sapporo JR station and transfer to Otaru with it.(35mins)
You may like to visit Former Hokkaido Bank Head Office built in 1912, this stone building is a popular sightseeing spot in Otaru as a piece of modern architecture. Freely walk through the Otaru Canal area, Grand Park Otaru, Tanaka Sake Brewery Kikkogura, Sakaimachi Street which is the most lively tourist attraction in Otaru. Take Tenguyama Ropeway, the symbolic mountain of Otaru. The viewpoint from the top is fantastic.
You can retrun to Sapporo on the day.

Transfer to Kushiro from Sapporo with your Hokkaido Pass.(4h20m)
Explore Kushiro at your own leisure. 
Kushiro, which is well known as "the town of mist," is situated in the southeastern part of Hokkaido, facing the Pacific Ocean. You may like to visit Kushiro Fisherman’s Wharf MOO which is very porpular place for both the local people and visitors if you would like to treat yourself to a gourmet meal or enjoy shopping. There is always a lively, cheerful and welcoming atmosphere.

You may like to visit Kushiro Shitsugen National Park which is a magnificent wetland. Japanese Cranes can be viewed there year round and attract hundreds of photographers. With Norokko trains from JR Kushiro Station, you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Also You may like to visit Lake Mashu which is one of the most transparent lakes in the world. It is also known as “Foggy Lake Mashu” particularly in summer.

You may like to visit Koshimizu Gensek-kaen(wild flower preserve), where about 40 kinds of flowers bloom in spring and summer; lake saroma, which is separated from the sea by a long, thin sandbar. Lake Tofutsu, famous for its swans. The town becomes surrounded by floating ice in winter.

From Asahikawa which is the second largest city in Hokkaido to Biei and Furano area by train called Furano line(35m). Biei and Furano celebrats for its lavender fields in every summer. A vast area form exquisite flowery belts of narcissi, lavender and cosmos.

You may like to visit Noboribetsu Onsen whick is the most famous hot spring resort in Hokkaido. You can experience the dynamics of jigoku or “Hell” names as such for its strong smell of sulfur while hot water, vapors and volcanic gas escape from the crater, formed approzimately ten thousand years ago.
