Cities of Asia Tour [Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kyoto]

[Self-Guided] 9 days

ViaJapan Holidays lives up to it's name with this great opportunity to visit Japan's two most popular cities, as well as the gateway to Asia that is Hong Kong.

As English is widely spoken in Hong Kong it makes a good starting point for a Far East trip. Make the most of the great shopping that is to be in the markets of Kowloon, not far from your hotel. And enjoy the fabulous food on offer everywhere.

Then, travel to Japan, an ideal destination for every traveller, with an abundance of both historic and modern sights and attractions. While English is not an official language, it is widely spoken, particularly in Tokyo and Kyoto. So you will have no trouble exploring some of Kyoto's world famous temples and shrines, such as Kiyomizu Temple or Heian Shrine during your free time in this amazing city. Your Japan Rail Pass covers all your long distance journeys including the Bullet Train between Kyoto and Tokyo. This significantly reduces the amount of time you will need to spend arranging train tickets and therefore increase the time you have to see the sights. In Tokyo, we recommend Asakusa Kannon Temple and taking in the view of the city from the Observation Deck of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings in Shinjuku.
